5.6.2004FinAs the paper fell from my right hand into the empty black basket outside of Dean Davies' office I was officially finished with scholarly work. Last night I was at the pub crawl to prove it. We even had t-shirts.A few days ago I was reading through this site's archives going back over some of the last three years. I like to do that just before I go to sleep but it may be one of the causes of my general cyclical outlook on life. I may be too well-read on my own history. I think I've been making too many comparisons. Well, anyway, I'm done. Tomorrow is the ceremony to cap it off. Tonight my parents and sister are coming into town to celebrate and have dinner. I don't have any instant perspective to offer you, but I will sometime shortly, so keep reading. .. | @ 5/6/2004 03:33:58 PM » » (talkback)
5.2.2004Columbus Crew 0 : 0 Dallas BurnIt rained in waves so hard that you couldn't see the far side of the field, and I was standing there under my golf umbrella the only person in V-Army not getting drenched. But they were all loving it anyway. It bolstered their singing. It raised their spirits. Well, for a while anyway until it cooled off and they were all shirtless and cold and soon to be suffering from hypothermia.Other than the fact that its difficult to concentrate on the game when surrounded by drunks, it was a pretty thorough enjoyable waste of time. At least we got one point. But we're still dead last. .. | @ 5/2/2004 05:00:23 PM » » (talkback) |
