As the paper fell from my right hand into the empty black basket outside of Dean Davies' office I was officially finished with scholarly work. Last night I was at the pub crawl to prove it. We even had t-shirts.

A few days ago I was reading through this site's archives going back over some of the last three years. I like to do that just before I go to sleep but it may be one of the causes of my general cyclical outlook on life. I may be too well-read on my own history. I think I've been making too many comparisons.

Well, anyway, I'm done. Tomorrow is the ceremony to cap it off. Tonight my parents and sister are coming into town to celebrate and have dinner. I don't have any instant perspective to offer you, but I will sometime shortly, so keep reading.
